Its spring in Denmark. 2 weeks with sun, blue sky and 25 degree temperatures all over Denmark. 

Copenhagen is green in the parks and blue on the lakes with people of all ages relaxing, talking  and playing in a poetic atmosphere of love and beauty.

 

I am on two visits in Copenhagen on 26. and 27. May 2014.

Here is what I experienced:

THE GREEN CIRCLE – all the parks surrounding Copenhagen City originated from Fortress of Copenhagen builded in 1620-64 with 24 bastions, ramparts and moats with Main Fortress Castellet at the entrance of Copenhagen Harbour and parts of the fortress on Island Amager, Christianshavn and Freetown Christiania and the old Naval Base Copenhagen (Holmen):

Rundetårn – Round Tower builded by King Christian 4 as a Observatory i 1642 in connection with baroque church Trinitatis builded 1656 with University Library under the roof of the church:
