Summer 2016 in Denmark with a 7000 km long coastline with hundreds of clean white sand beaches and clean water all over.
Thats a gift to the danish population and for all visitors to the beautiful country.
Denmark is surrounded by 4 seas: North Sea, Skagerak, Kattegat and Baltic Sea.
Three straits (Sounds) connects Kattegat and Baltic Sea: Øresund, Store Bælt and Lille Bælt – all with 3 new bridges.
Close to the beaches you will see hills and slopes shaped under and after the great The Glacier Period 10-12.000 B.C. which covered all Scandinavia with a 1-2 km thick ice cap.
Close to the sea people have settle since 8.000 B.C. all over Denmark and to day you can see thousands of burials mounds from 1500 B.C. in the landscape:
