Oplev København vinter 2018 – besøg Inderhavnen, Operaen, Flådestation Holmen (1680-1989), Amalienborg Slot, ny cykel- og gangbro “Inderhavnsbroen”, Nyhavn og Kongens Nytorv anlagt 1684-88 med statue af Kong Christian 5 på hest omgivet af anlægget “Krinsen”.

Winter 2018 in Denmark have been unusual warm with a lot of rain in january.

But on monday 5. february 2018: sun and blue sky with minus 5-10 degrees all over Denmark. 

Here is my experience – my photo story on my one day visit to Copenhagen – 60 km south of my home in North Sealand:

Nyhavn – a 400 m long, 4 m deep and 25 m wide canal between Copenhagen Inner Harbour to main central square Kongens Nytorv.

The canal was built 1672-74 by King Christian 5 (King of Denmark and Norway 1670-99) for commerce with storehouses close to wharfs.

Since 2012 Kongens Nytorv has been under construction of underground new METRO – Metroringen, which will open summer 2019.

During 2018 the open area of Kongens Nytorv will be renovated, as it was before the construction of the underground Metro:
