The three summer months in Denmark is usualy a mixture of hot weeks with more than 25 degrees, semi hot weeks with 20 degrees and weeks with no more than 15 degree in average. When we are lucky we have 3 hot weeks with 25-30 degrees in a row.

After all danish borders were closed on 14. march 2020 caused by the corona pandemic all danes we looking forward to a good danish spring and summer with a lot of outdoor activities like sport, fun, play, walk and bike.

The spring in march, april and may was the weather excellent with a lot of sunshine and warm temperatures.

The danes invaded the danish forest, beaches, lakes, fjords, islands and the cities parks and canals to experience all outdoor activities under the beautiful danish spring.

All activities were done with responsibility advised by the danish government guidelines.

All danes to act with responsibility in their daily life:

Keep distance of around 6 feet to all people – infected or not infected with coronavirus (all people are to be LOOKED as infected by coronavirus, COVID-19  – even when they are NOT infected).

Wash you hands after touching handle and railing. Don´t handshake. When you cough do it in a throwaway serviette or in your elbow 6 feet from other people.

Don´t kiss and squeeze.

Use disposable gloves – in your home, on work and when you are shopping.

When you are in close contact under 1 m distance to a person you must use safeguard protection as gloves and mask around mouth, nose and eyes.

and later from august:

Phase 4, start between 8.- 31. august 2020.

In june, july and august I enjoyed walk and bike to the beaches close to my home in Melby, North Sealand. I did in morning, midday and evenings in all kind of  weather conditions: sunshine, overclouded, windy and raining – alone, with friends and family.

On all the beaches with dunes, clean water and sand and a huge sky which frames all sceneries I experienced a symphony of colors, which felt me with love, joy, peace, freedom and gratitude.

My goal of photographing a selected and bounded area is to catch the unique light of nature caused by the sun.
